The Doyenne Suit - Japanese Denim
The Doyenne Suit is called so because to be ‘La Doyenne’ is to be the eldest, most experienced in her field and this feels so true of this suit. She is sophisticated, smart but she works hard.
This winter edition is made from denim sashiko, a tighter stitch creating a courser and more hardy fabric.
A two piece with wide leg, deep pleated trousers, loose over shirt jacket with foraging pockets.The jacket is an oversized shape, the trousers sit high on the waist with a wide barrel leg, tapering at the ankle with a neat turn up . The jacket is one size. The trousers are true to size on the waist.
Dark indigo Japanese denim.
Trouser Sizing -
Small - fits a size 8/10
Medium - fits a size 10/12
Large - fits a size 12/14
Please note that once ordered, the suits will be hand made in Penzance ,Cornwall. Please allow 4 weeks.*We will be in touch to finalise sizing for you.
Each piece can be ordered separately.
*Jacket is one size, an oversize fit for women and a slightly more narrower fit for men (we can make amendments if you need)
